PREAMBLE:
WE, THE MEMBERS OF BE HAPPY SOCIAL CLUB OF NIGERIA, having firmly and solemnly resolved
to
promote recreational
and
social interests amongst ourselves in a friendly and family
atmosphere, do hereby make and give to ourselves this Constitution.
Sections
CHAPTER 1 – NAME AND GENERAL
PROVISIONS
1. The Club shall be known and called Be Happy Social Club of
Nigeria (hereinafter called “THE
CLUB”) having been registered under the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
.
2. The Club shall be a private members’ club.
3.
The
Club shall maintain an anthem, emblem and a flag as contained in the 5th schedule to
this Constitution.
4. The Club shall be a FAMILY Club.
CHAPTER 2 - AIMS
AND
OBJECTIVES
1.

The aims and objectives of the Club shall be as follows:
i. To promote recreational and social interests of members
ii. To promote inter-ethnic and inter-racial understanding amongst people
|
|
iii. To maintain friendly relations with similar Clubs by the promotion of Inter-Club
Tournaments in sports and social interaction.

To promote and sustain sporting and social programmes for the advancement of
family values.

(e)
|
To seek and accept, whenever possible and desirable, reciprocal membership
from other Clubs
having similar aims and objectives.

To organize lectures,
seminars and
symposia
on
issues
of
national,
social economic and public interest
|
|
(g)
|
To do other things to enable the Club attain the aims and objectives enumerated above.

CHAPTER 3 - EFFECT OF THE
CONSTITUTION
2. The Club shall be administered by way of this Constitution and its
provisions shall be binding on all its members.
3.
Any Bye-Law of Section within the Club, or rules and regulations of Management Council Management Committee, or any Committee which runs contrary
to
the provisions of this Constitution shall, to the extent of their inconsistency, be null and void, and of no effect.
