Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The Beginning of Knowledge is to know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion
When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
To deliver you from the way of evil,
From the man who speaks perverse things,
So you may walk in the way of goodness,
And keep to the paths of righteousness.
For the upright will dwell in the land,
And the blameless will remain in it;
But the wicked will be cut off from the earth,
And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it

Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
For his proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And his gain than fine gold.
He is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with him.
Length of days is in his right hand,
In his left hand riches and honour.
His ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all his paths are peace.
He is a tree of life to those who take hold of him,
And happy are all who retain him.
The LORD by wisdom founded the earth;
By understanding He established the heavens;
Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting,
get understanding.
